The Afra river gives its name to the valley where Valchiera is located. It is a fascinating tributary of the Tiber and for its most beautiful stretch (1200-mt) flows in the thirty hectares of the property.

It is a small body of water with a large central rock surmounted by a magnificent waterfall that oxygenates the water, making it rich in plants, birds and small fish.

Natural spring that flows from the living rock and used in the past to supply drinking water. It is located a few meters downstream from the Valchiera on the banks of the Afra.

It is a truly splendid natural pool of about 12 meters in diameter. It is located at the foot of a simply spectacular waterfall.

It is a whirlpool carved into the rock by the force of the water which at this point has an emerald green colour and is deep enough to dive into in a unique choreography.
